A life lived to its fullest, spanning 85 years, leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. As a patriot from the outset, Maywald served his country with honor in the United States Air Force before embarking on a distinguished career in the Oil & Gas Drilling and Exploration, that spanned over four decades. Rising to the position of an International Oil Executive who navigated the challenges of operations stretching across regions in Southeast Asia, Australia, China & the Middle East, his courage knew no bounds as he led drilling expeditions through the tumultuous waters of the North Sea and Bering Straits, forging a legacy of resilience and tenacity, all while ensuring the safety of everyone around him. As an adventurer at heart, Maywald developed an abiding appreciation for life's intricacies & culture on top of the beauty & respect of nature through his global experiences. His spirit, forever touched by the diverse landscapes & diversities he encountered, became a testament to the wonders of our world. Amidst the demanding schedules and unpredictable nature of his profession, Ron remained a devoted family man. His unwavering love and commitment were a source of strength and inspiration to his wife and child. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul, we hold onto cherished memories of a life well-lived. He is survived by his beloved wife and child, who will forever carry the flame of his legacy. Now in the arms of God, Ron finds eternal peace, and we find solace in the belief that this life is but a prelude to the next.
