In the wee morning hours of September 27, 2023, Robert Wienke peacefully departed this world into the arms of his father in eternal rest. Robert was born to Donald and Lois Wienke of WI. He was preceded in death by both his mother and father, daughter Breanna Young, son-in-law Logan Will, Brother Ronald Wienke, Brother-in-law Butch Sperger, Step-dad Bill Dawson, Mother-in-law Juanita Cole-Louder, brother-in-law Richard Delaney, Nephews Daniel & Nickolas Delaney. He is survived by his wife Anita Wienke, daughters Shana and Rachel Wienke, grandchildren Arabella, and Jackson L; sister(s), Janet Sperger, Karen & brother-in-law John Boortz, brothers Russell Wienke, and Richard & sister-in-law Sally Wienke, Sister-in-law Geneva Delaney, Brother-in-law(s) Thomas, Russell, Brian Cole, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Robert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He proudly served in the United States Army in Baumholder, Germany, as an IND INF Fire Crewman. After returning to the states, Robert embarked on a new adventure, finding his forever home in Arizona. It was there that he met the love of his life, Anita, and they were blessed with three beautiful daughters Shana, Breanna, and Rachel; and two grandchildren Arabella and Jackson.
Bob worked at various golf courses and City parks throughout Arizona, utilizing his skill and expertise to care and maintain the City’s’ beautiful landscapes; he became a very skilled tradesman, able to master anything he set his mind to. He was an outdoorsman tried and true, he enjoyed camping, hunting, and exploring country back roads & trails. Bob also loved all types of music, and enjoyed playing guitar with his wife, daughter, and friends.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Bob will remember him for his remarkable handiness and his infectious sense of humor! Robert Wienke, affectionately known as Bob, Bobby, and Wink; His life - was a blessing, his memory - a treasure, He is loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure!
A military service with honors first will be held October 26th 2023 at 11AM at Shelter, at the National Cemetery located at 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024, approx. 30 min.
A celebration of life will follow, to be announced….
