David R. Acosta, 74, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Aurora, CO. He was born December 11, 1948 in Denver, CO. He was married to his loving wife, Mary, for 53 years. They raised their children David and Melinda. David was the proud papa of Jason R. Acosta and Dominick J. McGee. David is preceded in death by his father, Julio Acosta, his mother and father in law Albert and Julia Encinias, his siblings Patricia (Trujillo), Lory, Madeline, John and Richard (Sonny) Encinias. He is celebrated in life by his wife, children, grandchildren, his mother Ramona, sisters Esther (Alire-Acosta), Theresa, Geraldine (Ed), Tina (Chuck), Rosanne (Richard) his brother Ted (Alejandra) and many neices, nephews, cousins and friends. David's request was to be cremated. He was not a religious man but he was the best person with a generous soul. David passed on his love of travel, especially road trips with his kids and grandsons.
