The story of
Wayne Gohring, age 67, passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord in Heaven. He died from liver and kidney failure on October 13th, 2023 in Evergreen Hospice. Wayne Gohring was born on February, 10th 1956 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Milton and Lucille Gohring. He grew up in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School. He was self-employed as a flooring installer and later worked for ICI at the power plants. He married Vicki Larsen on May 10th, 1980. They had 3 children Joshua, Justine and Jonessa. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating on the Missouri River. He spent a lot of weekends at Lake Tchida with family and friends. Then the family moved to Seattle area in 1985 as Wayne was looking for new employment in construction work. He worked for Heritage Enterprises for almost 7 years, bought a home in Duvall, WA and then started his own Remodeling company of 23 years. He built the family home during those years and added an addition a few years later. After closing his business, he worked for Keystone Kitchens in Woodinville, WA for 8 years. Wayne loved boating trips on Puget Sound, deep sea fishing, crabbing, and of course attending Seattle Seahawks games. He is survived by his wife Vicki, son, Joshua Gohring, two daughters, Justine Rubin and Jonessa Kizanis, and 5 grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Gohring, his mother, Lucille Gohring, and his brother Delayne Gohring. We will have a celebration of life on his birthday Saturday, Feb. 10th 2024 at Cherry Creek Falls Event Center at 4:00. 16533 Kelly Rd NE Duvall, WA 98019.
