In Loving Memory of Wanda Maxine Binats, May 31, 1935 – September 15, 2026. Wanda Maxine Binats, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and life coach, passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 91.
Wanda lived a life centered around people. She had a natural ability to listen, encourage, guide, and help others find their own strength and direction. As a life coach, she dedicated herself to helping people navigate life’s challenges and discover the possibilities within themselves. Her wisdom, compassion, honesty, and willingness to truly listen made a lasting difference in the lives of many.
For Wanda, family was not defined solely by blood. Her friends were her chosen family, and she formed deep and meaningful relationships with the people who came into her life. She valued those friendships, nurtured them, and considered many of those friends to be every bit as much a part of her family as those connected to her by birth.
Wanda was also a devoted mother and grandmother who took great pride in her family. She is survived by her two children, Lafe Allyn Ball Sr., his wife Karalee Ball, and Teresa Lynn Ball. Through her son Lafe, Wanda was blessed with three grandchildren: Tiffany, Lafe Jr., and Nathan. Her granddaughter Tiffany is married to Jessica, and together they have a son, Rowan, Wanda’s great-grandson. Her grandson Lafe Jr. is married to Tatiana. Together they have Amelia, Lafe’s stepdaughter, and their son Cian, giving Wanda two more beloved great-grandchildren. Her grandson Nathan is married to Laraine, and together they have two children, Theo and Nara, Wanda’s great-grandchildren.
Wanda leaves behind not only her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, but also the many friends who became family through the years. Each relationship represented a piece of the life she built—a life defined by connection, encouragement, loyalty, and love. Her legacy will live on in the people she guided, the friends she cherished, and the family she loved so deeply. The lessons she shared, the encouragement she gave, and the lives she touched will continue long after her passing.
Wanda will be deeply missed by her family and her chosen family of friends. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will continue through the generations.
She was a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a life coach, and a friend—but to so many, she was simply Wanda: someone who listened, cared, believed in them, and made their lives a little better. May she rest peacefully, knowing how deeply she was loved and how many lives she touched.
