January 20, 1946 – October 18, 2026
Vincent Alfred Fratarcangeli, 80, passed away on October 18, 2026, after a life marked by determination, service, family, and a love of adventure.
Born on January 20, 1946, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Vincent was the son of Emilio and Julia Fratarcangeli. Throughout his life, he demonstrated an independent spirit, a strong work ethic, and an enduring curiosity about the world around him.
As a young man, Vincent left home to serve his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he continued to pursue his ambitions by putting himself through school at the University of Bridgeport, where he earned his bachelor's degree. His determination and commitment to education laid the foundation for a long career in banking, working predominantly with credit unions.
Vincent eventually settled in Milford, Connecticut, where he raised his two sons, Kenneth and Steven Fratarcangeli. His family grew to include four grandchildren, Alyssa, Nicholas, Jake, and Tyler Fratarcangeli, who remain an important part of his legacy.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Vincent had a passion for staying active and experiencing life to the fullest. He loved gardening, skiing, hiking, cooking, and spending time outdoors. He was rarely content to sit still for long and was always finding a project to tackle, an activity to enjoy, or a new experience to pursue. His energy and enthusiasm were an unmistakable part of who he was.
Vincent especially loved international travel. He enjoyed discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and broadening his horizons. His adventurous nature took him far beyond his Connecticut beginnings and reflected his lifelong desire to explore and remain engaged with the world.
After many years in Milford, Vincent relocated to Cave Creek, Arizona, where he spent the remainder of his life. His journey from Bridgeport to Milford and ultimately to Arizona reflected a life of independence, hard work, and new experiences.
Vincent was predeceased by his sister, Diane Newton. He is survived by his brothers, Pasquale (Patsy) Fratarcangeli, Vincenzo Fratarcangeli, Emilio Fratarcangeli, Jr., and John Fratarcangeli; his sons, Kenneth (Tracy) and Steven (Cindy) Fratarcangeli; and his four grandchildren, Alyssa, Nicholas (Emma), Jake, and Tyler Fratarcangeli.
Vincent will be remembered for his determination, his service to his country, his professional dedication, and his adventurous spirit. Above all, his life will be remembered through the family he raised, the experiences he embraced, and the memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
May Vincent Alfred Fratarcangeli rest in peace. His journey has ended, but his memory and legacy will continue through the generations of family who follow him.
