Usha Pahlajrai née Gopi Daswani, 88, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024 in Hillsboro, Oregon. Usha led a rich and tranquil life filled with family, friends, and many interests, such as quilting, Reiki energy work, crystals, crafts, and cooking. Usha was preceded in death by her parents Bhagwandas and Lachmi Daswani, mother-in-law Parpati Daryanani, brothers Gul, Kishu and Gobind Daswani, sisters Laju Daswani and Leela Mohan, sisters-in-law Vindri Tikamdas, Poonam Chandiramani; she is survived by her son, Prem, sisters Geeta Khemlani, Padma Udeshi, Shaku Huffman, Dolly Sehwani, Meenu Lord, sister-in-law Sangeeta Kripalani, brother-in-law Nari Daryanani, ex-husband Pahlajrai Khanchand and a vast extended family including many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Rosewood Park, 2405 SE Century Blvd, Hillsboro, OR 97123.
