Townsend Terrell Wilson, nickname T-Bone and fondly known as “T” and Terrell, was born on December 12, 1972, in St. Louis, MO to parents Fred O’Neal and Maudean (Triplett) Wilson (both parents preceded him in death). He was the youngest boy of his 8 siblings and shares the same birthdate, 12/12 with his sister, Jacqueline. Townsend accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. He grew up in church and served as a junior usher. John 10:28 – “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, no on can snatch them out of my hand.” Townsend attended Adams Elementary School and graduated from Roosevelt High School with a General Studies Diploma. He held various jobs/positions in his career. His last job was with St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center, Food Service. He loved his family and friends dearly, and would always show up at the family gatherings. He enjoyed action movies, and his favorite colors were purple and black. His favorite NFL team was the Seattle Seahawks! Townsend relocated to Phoenix, AZ in 2025 and was enjoying his time there. He departed this life on Wednesday night, July 1, 2026, in Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 53. “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 He leaves to cherish his memory:. Four Children: Demetrius, Fontavia, Latrell and TreyShawn. Three bonus children; Kyren, Roman and Henry. Five grandchildren; Five Siblings: Charlie of Chicago, IL, Willie (Brenda), Jacqueline (Mario) of Crestview, FL, Karl’ T (Rachel) and Yvette of Ft. Worth, TX. Two brothers, Avance and Byron preceded him in death as well as his sister, Maureen. Aunts: Bertha Newton of Rockford, IL and 3 Aunts; Edna, Pearl, and Linda Triplett of MS. Nieces: Sheron, Melinda, Tamekka, Kaylah, Cheyenne, Kanaesha, Tanya, and Shanekka. Nephews: Eddie (Carol), Quinton (Yoonjin), KJ, Jerome, and Jeremy; and a host of great nieces/nephews, cousins and friends. A special friend; Shannon McClure of Phoenix, AZ and long-time friends, Arthur, Philip and Rick.
