The story of
Timothy James “Tim” Crimmings, 74, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2026, at 11:44 p.m., surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born on July 10, 1951, in Summit to his adoptive parents, John and Dolores Crimmings. He shared a devoted and loving marriage with his wife, Pamela, for 54 years following a four-year courtship. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and commitment. Tim proudly served in the United States Army and dedicated much of his life to serving others through multiple fire departments and emergency services. He was a certified Ford mechanic, EMT, and fire instructor for Moraine Park Technical College, helping many students begin their careers in firefighting and emergency response. Tim was also an avid Ford racer. He started in drag racing before moving into modifieds and midgets and eventually sprint cars, later passing his passion and racing duties down to his son, Alex. He was well known for designing and building Ford engines and had a lifelong love for racing and mechanics. Tim is survived by his wife, Pamela; his children, Alex Crimmings and Michelle (Michael) Black; his son-in-law, Wilson Titus; and his cherished grandchildren, Mackenzie Black, Wyatt Black, Adelynn Black, Taylor Crimmings, Cody Black, and Peyton Crimmings. He is also survived by his brother, Patrick Crimmings. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dolores Crimmings; his mother and father-in-law, Nelda and Joseph Stefan; and his beloved daughter, Angela Sue Titus. A celebration of Tim’s life will take place on June 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with full honors at the Iron Ridge Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Iron Ridge Fire Department, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, or toward helping with medical expenses. Fly high, Tim. You will not be forgotten.
