The story of
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Andrew Kelch, age 69, of Cincinnati, OH. Tim passed away on January 17, 2025 on the slopes of Keystone Ski Resort, CO surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the mountains. Tim was a beloved father, friend, mentor and cherished member of our family. Tim was born on May 12, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH, to George Kelch and Virginia Bird Kelch. He grew up in Cincinnati, where he developed a lifelong love for sports and competition, excelling as a star athlete in football and track during his youth. His drive and determination extended beyond the field, shaping him into a highly successful entrepreneur. As the founder and owner of Top Tier Talent and Consulting, Tim was recognized for his exceptional business acumen, leadership, and unwavering dedication to helping others achieve success. He was known for his charisma, intellect, and charm, leaving an impact on all who had the pleasure of working with him. A devoted lover of Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chip ice cream, Tim graduated from Forest Park High School in 1973 and later attended Rhema Bible Training College in 1985. He was passionate about his family, his faith, and his love for gardening, which was evident to everyone who knew him. Tim is survived by his life partner, Cheryl Bonynge, his sister Mary Lynn (Howie) Yeremian, his former spouse Binnie Kelch Johnson and their children: Timothy (Wynne) Kelch II, Emilie (Matthew) Feldhues, Melinda Egan, Stephanie (Michael) Bowman, Matthew (Christina) Kelch. Tim was so proud of his adored grandchildren: Ashton Francis, Megan Ciavarella, Shelby Benter, Madeline Cabibbo, Erin Egan, Isabella Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Elissa Kelch, Eileen Egan, Elijah Egan, Noelle Egan, Jonah Feldhues, Grace Feldhues, Bianca Bowman, Reese Bowman and Harrison Kelch, along with his great grandchildren: Rowan Akalanana and Isla Francis. Tim is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, who cherished his wisdom, humor, and guidance. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Virginia Kelch, and three siblings: Richard Kelch, Mark Kelch, and Michele Kelch. Tim’s legacy of love, perseverance, and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew him. His impact will be forever remembered, and he will be deeply missed. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tim will be held on Friday, February 28th, at Crossroads Oakley Chapel, 3500 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45209. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Online access will be available for remote participants to join in honoring his memory. To honor Tim’s passion for both people and amazing parties, a Celebration of Life Reception will be held at The Spot on West Fifth, 337 W 5th St, Cincinnati, OH 45202, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Friends and loved ones are invited to share memories, laughter, and stories as we raise a glass to a life well lived. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tim will be held on Friday, February 28th, at Crossroads Oakley Chapel, 3500 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45209. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Online access will be available for remote participants to join in honoring his memory.
