The story of Thomas
Thomas D. Rogers Sr., age 69 years old, was called home by God, his Heavenly Father, on the evening of April 27, 2023, to be reunited with his eldest son, Thomas Jr. and his beloved dog Christmas, as well as other members of his Heavenly family. Tom loved to play several sports in his earlier years, but later in life, he spent his time watching them. He was a Denver Broncos fan first and an Arizona Cardinals fan second. He enjoyed watching the Rockies and Avalanche as well, but his true passions were playing video poker and Texas Holdem at the casinos and playing ball with Christmas. Knowing Tom, he probably got a poker game going shortly after walking through the Pearly Gates, or found a ball to toss for Christmas to chase after. Tom is survived by his wife Cynthia, two sons, Christopher and Jonathan, his daughter, Tamara, and their spouses, four grandsons, two granddaughters, and his fur baby Buttercup, the only cat he ever loved. Services for Tom will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 11 a.m., at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. It was Tom's wish for this to be his final resting place, where many of his relatives have been laid to rest. The flock of Angels who have watched over Tom for so many years have finally carried him home to Heaven. May God Bless and Keep him, his family and friends, and all those who love him, both in Heaven and on earth. Amen
