Theodore Lynn Haas, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away early in the morning of August 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on September 5, 1939, in Lafayette, Indiana, Theodore “Ted” was the son of Harold Haas and Betty Sutherland. Throughout his life, Ted was a source of unwavering love and support for his family. He married Eleanor Osoc Haas in 1991, both in Upland, California, United States and in the Philippines, where he further uplifted Eleanor’s family. Together, they built a life filled with love for their family members, their pets, and attending mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fontana, California. He was a good father to his three children. Known for being gentle, patient, and caring, he will be missed by all. Theodore is preceded by his father, Harold Haas, and his mother, Betty Sutherland. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Osoc Haas; his children, Desiree Dobbert, Douglas Chipman, and Dorothy Ledesma; his sister, Cheryl Lee Hollenbeck; as well as his nephews, nieces, and three granddaughters.
