The story of
Theodore Rowe passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 73 in Phoenix, Arizona. Better known as Ted, he was born on October 17, 1950 in Long Beach, California. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Ted was proud of his accomplishments and passionate about cooking. He found joy in his years as the Chef and Owner of Mulberry Street Pizzeria. His culinary skills brought happiness to many people's palates. In his earlier years, Ted served as the Assistant Chief of Campus Security at University of Maryland Baltimore County and later became the Chief of Security at Cal State East Bay. He dedicated himself to ensuring the safety and well-being of others. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara, his daughters, Alison and Melinda, his grandchildren, Emily, Lucas, and Declan, his brother, Neil, and his sisters, Barbara and Martha. He cherished his family and leaves behind treasured memories. Ted's life will be celebrated in a ceremony planned for the spring of 2024 in Marin County, California. Details of the Celebration of Ted's Life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley. Ted will be deeply missed by all who loved him. His passion for cooking, dedication to his career, and love for his family will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace.
