Suzanne J. Wilson, 62, of Strasburg, CO passed away into the arms of the lord on March 13, 2023. Suzanne was born on November 15, 1960, in Los Angeles, CA to loving parents Perry and Ruth Wilson. In her childhood, she was a beautiful girl, winning multiple beauty pageants at a young age. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and road trips with her family. She was also involved in Camp Fire Girls and Y Indian Guides where she made many friends. Suzanne was an avid reader and was usually found with a new book in her hands. Suzanne graduated high school in San Diego, CA in 1979, then went on to study literature at the University of California Davis, and later Denver Metropolitan College. Suzanne moved to Colorado in her early twenties and settled there for the rest of her life. She found the beauty of the mountains calming and peaceful and made many dear friends with whom she would discuss all things in the world. Suzanne was passionate about all animals, particularly her precious cats. Suzanne was preceded in death by her father Perry Wilson and mother Ruth Wilson. She is survived by her brother John Wilson, Sister-in-law Tara Godwin-Wilson, Nephews Dennis and Jack, nieces Kelsey, Emily, and Hunter, and grand nephew Beck. We know she is now at peace.
