Susan McCollough Merten, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 13, 2026. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed. Susan was born on June 23, 1964, in Hollywood, California, to John and Elizabeth McCollough. She grew up in Huntington Beach, where she loved going to the beach with her friends and developed a lifelong passion for live music and animals. She also loved drawing and painting, and that creative spirit evolved into a love for interior design later in life. Susan enjoyed traveling with her family and was grateful to visit many places, both across the United States and internationally. Susan is survived by her sister, Nancy; her husband, Steven; her three sons, Dylan, Jacob, and Christian; her dog, Frida; and her cockatiel, Alfie. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
