Stephen, age 63, passed away on October 1, 2022, surrounded by his family at the hospital after a brief illness. He was born in 1959 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Stephen is survived by his wife, Belinda; his son, Daniel and his wife, Edith & their twins, Josephine and Faith; his daughter, Carissa and her husband, Steve Frechette; and his son, Jonathan; stepfather, Big Steve, and siblings Sue, Dorie, Kitty and Ed. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Henry and Marilyn, and sisters, Lorie Jo and Mary Lou. Stephen was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and also spent his life in Kansas, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Colorado. He met his wife at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His first son, Daniel, and his daughter, Carissa, were born in Michigan, and the youngest son, Jonathan was born in Kansas. He enjoyed many things in life including cooking, hunting, watching movies, spending time with the family, and attending church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as a Grand Knight in Amherst, Ohio. Funeral services will be held in private. Please omit flowers.
