The story of
Sherril Ioan Caudill Born April 14th 1938 to her Mother, Neta Pollack. She is preceeded in death by Her Husband Jimmy Caudill, Her oldest Daughter Marla Walker- Travelstead, And her Daughter Linda April, her Mother and Siblings long before. She is Survived by her adult Children Joyce Wood, Shirley Gray, Lewis April, Sheri Bowman, Darin April, Her grandchildren and many great grandchildren and many friends. Sherril was born and raised in Magna Utah near Escalante. She was the Mother of 7, she loved, cared and nurtured each one in her own loving way, teaching us right from wrong and to be good people. She was a seamstress most of her life and used to fashion most of her children's clothing for school and church. She was a prankster and loved to make people laugh . Her hobbies included cooking, canning, gardening, assembling jigsaw puzzles, crochet, fishing, camping, dancing, bingo, among many others. Linda, her 4th daughter was her close companion in most everything, as she was mentally challenged, they spent many years together (60 to be exact), they enjoyed thrift shopping, and eating out at various restaurants and visiting friends and family. Linda passed away about 2 years ago, that left her without the friendship they had built. She was left, lonely and saddened by the loss of Linda. Sherril had many health issues to overcome throughout the years, Afib, Heart Attack, Iron Deficiency, COPD, Broken Bones, etc. She was in the hospital quite a bit over the last 10 to 15 years. She used to say to the nurses, " I own one of these room here you know" Sadly in June of this year, she had a pretty bad fall on her back patio, resulting in a broken back of which she spent her last days in a back brace. She was to say the least, very uncomfortable. She loved homegrown vegetables, fruits and junk food. She could still pull her little pranks on people with a chuckle. She touched the lives of many and will be forever missed and remembered.
