Mrs. Sheila Marie Sage, daughter of the late Woodrow and Kathryn Mathis, was born on November 15, 1947, in Portland, OR. She married Douglas Sage on June 14, 1969, and they have been happily married for 53 years. Sheila lost her battle with cancer on July 21, 2022, in Gold Canyon, AZ where they lived since 2016. Sheila was a remarkably strong, protective, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a genealogical expert who spent thousands of hours researching family history. And, even in her final days, she enjoyed stitching handmade cards for family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Sage; her two children, Jennifer McCalley and Brian Sage; and her four grandchildren, Austin and Madeline McCalley, and Landon and Owen Sage.
