The story of
Sharon “Sherry” Ann Lohr (Zimmerman), 68. Passed away on September 18th, 2023 from a short battle with Glioblastoma. (Brain Cancer) Sherry lived her life full of laughter, love, and anything involving the beach, being outdoors in nature, listening to good music or being with family and friends. She always loved a good party and great food, but she ALWAYS asked about the food! She passed on one of her favorite recipes, Mayonnaise cake, which she had to have made by her “girls” every year for her birthday! She had a few different jobs but was most proud of her job as a Mom and Grammy! The minute she became Grammy, she began taking care of “her girls”. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. Richard and Diana Zimmerman. She is survived by her daughter Sarah Benke (Joseph),son Cody Lohr, and her two granddaughters Ava (14) and Audrey(10). Her siblings, two sisters Carleen (Steve) Nelson and Deborah (Bob) Hahn. Three brothers Richie Zimmerman Jr., Robbie (Jen)Zimmerman, and Brian (Jackie) Zimmerman. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Her zest for life, laughter, family, friends, music, and great food was contagious. She has requested cremation and a big party!! We will have a celebration of life with great food, great music, family, and friends, details to follow soon. In Lieu of flowers if you wish to donate in her memory. Please donate to Hospice of the Valley
