Seymon' Lowell Calloway III
Seymon' Lowell Calloway III was a young man who was so full of life, with a spirit and personality that touched the lives of those blessed to know him. His family is deeply grateful for the time they were given with him during his earthly life and will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and love he shared with them.
Seymon' had a deep love for basketball. He played at University High School, where he was a starting varsity player and became the leader in rebounds in his division. Basketball was more than just a sport to Seymon'—it was something he poured his heart into and a part of who he was. His dedication, passion, and love for the game were evident to everyone who watched him play.
Outside of basketball, Seymon' enjoyed playing video games, watching old movies, and enjoying anime. He had a youthful spirit and a love for the things that brought him happiness. Those who knew him will remember not only his accomplishments, but also the energy, joy, and life he brought wherever he went.
Seymon' was preceded in death by his mother, Kim Marie Buckner. Though his family carries the heartbreak of losing him, they find comfort in knowing that the love between a parent and child never ends.
Seymon' leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will continue to carry his memory in their hearts. He is lovingly remembered by his father, Seymon' Calloway Jr.; his older brother, Omari Gurell; his younger sister, Nia Imani Calloway; his aunt and godmother, Pamela Campbell; his uncle and godfather, Timothy Antoine Stroud; and his cousins, Channing Campbell, Camille Campbell, and Leon Simmons. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, teammates, and all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.
His father loves and misses him more than words can express. While the pain of losing his son is immeasurable, he holds close the hope that this is not goodbye forever. He believes that one day they will see each other again, and until that day, he will carry Seymon' with him in his heart. As Seymon' begins his journey beyond this earthly life, his father finds comfort in knowing that he will be watched over, led, and guided until they are reunited.
Seymon' may have been with his family for too short a time, but the impact of his life will remain with them forever. His family is grateful for every moment, every memory, every laugh, and every opportunity they had to love him. His life was a gift, and his memory will continue to live on through the people who loved him.
Rest peacefully, Seymon'. You were deeply loved, you are deeply missed, and you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again.
