It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Mary Kennedy, a beloved Mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who left us on October 9, 2025 at the age of 71, at her home in Milliken Colorado. Born in Teaneck NJ on September 26, 1954 to Robert Charles Weis and Gloria Ellen Vigneron. She was a graduate of New Milford High School, Class of 1972. Sandy worked as a caregiver for her disabled husband as well as many other roles and careers throughout her lifetime. Sandy especially loved being politically active and outspoken. Her love of plants was only surpassed by her love of her family. Remaining to cherish Sandy’s memory are her husband, John; her children, John, Michael, Cassandra, Caitlin, and Colleen; her grandchildren, Jordan, Cheyenne, Morgan, Reilly, Cyrus, Dylan, Gabriella, Sophia, and Merilee; and her sisters, Debbie, Norie, and Tammy. Preceding Sandy in death are her brother, Robert and her parents, Robert and Gloria. A celebration of life will be held in March.
