Samuel Sean Slater, 33, of Highland Park, Seattle, Washington, our adventurous, talented, kind, funny and giving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and dear friend passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 15, 2023. Sam was born in Everett, Washington, on January 8, 1990 the son of Charles and Margarita Slater. Sam worked at Tony's in Saginaw, Michigan and then moved to Seattle, Washington where he worked at Salty's by the Sea in the Tacoma Airport as a cook. Sam was a free soul and lived life to the fullest. Not one to follow rules, he enjoyed his freedom and doing as he pleased. Sam enjoyed long boarding, he was a talented artist, and an incredible writer. He had a big heart for people and animals. He was an avid reader and had a beautiful smile, a greater listener and gave the best hugs. Sam was everyone's friend, and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Sam will be dearly missed by his adoptive parents, Charles and Margarita Slater; siblings, many special nieces and nephews, brothers by bond and special friends.
