Roy Michael Statler, 67, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A proud Army veteran, Roy served his country with honor and dedication. But the role he cherished most was being a father and grandfather. As a single dad, he raised his children with discipline, laughter, and unwavering love, shaping their lives through example, sacrifice, and steadfast presence.
Roy found his greatest joy in time spent with his grandchildren. He loved playing with them, teaching them, and simply being near them—especially listening as Isabela happily talked his ear off, something he never rushed and always treasured.
Whether it was a story from his Army days, a lesson shared over a home-cooked meal, or a quiet afternoon fixing something that “just needed the right tool,” Roy was always at his best when surrounded by family.
He loved guns and knives, telling Army stories, cooking, fixing things, and was never far from his tools—always ready to repair what was broken or help someone who needed it. His hands were rarely still, and his home reflected a lifetime of work, care, and capability.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia. He is survived by his children, Jason and Lisa, who will carry his memory forward with gratitude and love. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, who were the light of his later years.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Roy is no longer in pain and is now at peace. He will be deeply missed, deeply loved, and forever remembered.
