The story of
Rosemary Jean Haas, age 83, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, leaving behind many memories of love, family, and kindness. Born on October 20, 1942, Rosemary devoted her life to the people she loved most. On June 16, 1962, she married the love of her life, David Haas, beginning a beautiful marriage that spanned decades and was rooted in unwavering devotion and partnership. Rosemary was a loving mother to four children: Ken Haas (Dorene), Pamela Maas Garrels (Mark), Dan Haas (Cindy), and Scott Haas (Kerstin). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Matthew Haas, Katelyn Carbine, Jacob Haas, Claire Haas, Abigail Haas, Alex Maas, Austin Maas, Carla Nelson, and Stacia Haas, as well as her cherished step-grandchildren and many beloved great-grandchildren. Family was an important part of Rosemary's world. She found her greatest joy in connecting with loved ones, celebrating milestones, and sharing memories. Rosemary also enjoyed many creative pursuits. She loved sewing and crafting beautiful handmade treasures that she gifted to many, and she delighted in collecting teapots, bells, and bunnies. She was welcomed into heaven by those who went before her, including her beloved parents, Ester and Jacob Lisowe; her parents-in-law, Leone and Lawrence Haas; her brother, Mike Lisowe; her brother in-law George Haas, sisters, Barbara Philips and Donagayle Lloyd; and her daughters-in-law, Sheryl Haas and Kerstin Germany Rauch. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace among those she dearly loved. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the love she shared, the traditions she created, and the faith that assures them they will be reunited again. "Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
