We would like to thank everyone who reached out and was able to say their goodbyes prior to her transition. For all those who were unable to touch basis with her, just know that you all were in her heart and she loved each and everyone of you. She enjoyed her life, even through the ups and the downs. She always kept her faith in The Most High and trusted the promises of our dear Savior Jesus Christ, till the very end. She is indeed up there with the Lord speaking on our behalf right now. So, as her time has expired on this earth, her new life will most defiantly mirror her heartfelt love that she had for all those who were blessed enough to know her. She will be dearly missed and our hearts will never be the same, but because she set such an amazing example of what true character is like, we will continue her legacy with the faith of knowing that we will meet again on that faithful day that is promised to us all. -Mommie, Lord have mercy! The other gifts of Courage, Strength, Love and Compassion, Intelligence and Beauty! Thank you for all of the support over the years, the private talks, and advice given was received! You made sure to guide me or point me to the right way even though I didn't always listen. I hope you know that I was always listening and forever will be grateful as I continue on in this life! The Most High sent you here to leave your legacy and may I say job well done! Everyone who knew you was very heartbroken when they learned of you getting your wings! For your eldest my life has been forever changed and the only thing that will get me through is knowing I will see you again! I love you to life mommie! -Your eldest baby, Nikki. -Momma, There are no words that would adequately express the amount of love that I have for you. Your love for your girls is undeniably the best gift that you could have given us. There is no way I can let you go, it is only until I see you again. You live strongly in my heart, and soul; You touched so many lives, as only you could of done. As we discussed, your legacy inspires me to be a better person; your love and dedication will live through your grandsons too. As Darren said, you were so much more than just a mother, nana, and friend. You are our everything! Mia ~Momma, you are irreplaceable to me. Not a soul on this earth can match the love that you gave and the love that we have for you. You were the realest person I know. You were the most selfless person I know. As I told you many times before, "I wouldn't trade you for nothing and no one on this earth." You were a very special lady that I have learned so much from. I will forever cherish and value our time together, the lessons you taught, the laughter you brought us, and the bond that you and dad created will never be broken and I promise you it will be passed down for generations to come. You, my Lady, was one of the best Mothers, friend, confidant and teachers I know and you will never be forgotten but forever missed. Your Legacy will live on in and through us, until the end of time. So, I will not be saying goodbye Mommy, but rather, see you later Beautiful Lady. Love your baby girl, Monique. ~"Nana, Where can I begin? You gave my Mother life, which in turn game me a chance to experience this world. Not only did you give our close knit family life but you gave us compassion, guidance, love, and so much more for the entirety of your presence in our lives. You led fearlessly with grace and strength unmatched by anyone I've ever met in this life. Your strong willed nature and personality were nothing short of a treat for those who were lucky enough to experience them. You raised multiple generations of children with the same level of dedication and ferocity as you did your own, and gave love to countless despite the origins of their existence or where they were coming from because that's just who you were. Boundless! There isn't a day I don't think of you and smile because I know I wouldn't be half of the man I am today without your guidance and presence in my life. I hope to continue to make you proud in everything I do and I feel your presence with me every single day, uplifting me and reminding me to meet this life on life's terms. This is not a goodbye but a celebration of your involvement in my journey and the new journey that your soul has embarked on. I love you eternally and until we see each other again, - Love Your Grandson, Darren" ~Nana, You are the reason we all exist! Without you, none of us would be here. I love you with all my heart Nana and I will never forget you. Thank you for all the love and happiness you gave. I will always remember you. - Love Your Grandson, Tristan
