The story of
Robert Wayne Patterson, 79, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025. Born on October 31, 1945, in Mount Vernon, Illinois, Robert lived a life marked by faith, quiet strength, and an unwavering commitment to his family and to doing what was right. He was known for his hardworking nature, generous heart, and humble spirit. Whether helping a neighbor, offering guidance to his children, or quietly leading by example, Robert left a legacy of love and service that will never be forgotten. Robert is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Pamela Patterson, his parents, Joe and Maxine (Hogue) Patterson, his brother Gerald Patterson, and his son Robert “Bobby” Patterson Addair. He is survived by his children: Joe (Patterson) Drought (Donna), Edwin “Ed” Patterson (Yvonne), Annette “Ann” Addair, Greg Patterson, ElizaBeth Patterson, and Teresa; his grandchildren: Maliyah (Noah), Sedona, Alyssa, Dale & 10 more ; and his great-grandchildren: Ezra Robert and Elliott Gray. Robert is also survived by his siblings: Mary Scott, Joyce Joan Lindbergh (Rudy), Linda Lee (Wilbur), Sharon Withrow, and Gary Patterson (Becky), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who deeply loved and respected him. Although no formal service will be held, the family takes comfort in knowing that Robert has entered eternal rest. His life was a living testimony to the words of Matthew 25:21: “Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.”
