The story of
Richard Charles Wagner, born on February 15, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at 4:47 a.m., at the age of 74. Richard graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Accounting and spent most of his professional life as a general contractor, building both commercial properties and beautiful homes throughout Southern California. His craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication to excellence earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues, clients, and friends. Beyond his work, Richard had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed swimming, hiking, and exploring nature — often finding peace and reflection in quiet moments surrounded by beauty. Richard is survived by his sister, Pam Wagner, his brother, Billy Wagner, and his beloved daughter, Kelsey Wagner. He now joins in eternal rest his father, Charles Wagner, his mother, Kitty Wagner, and his sisters, Sharon Wagner and Beverly Watkins, who preceded him in passing. Those who knew Richard will remember his warm heart, steady presence, and generous spirit. His legacy lives on through the homes he built, the family he loved, and the many lives he touched along the way.
