The story of
Obituary for Raymond E. Tracy (1962-2024) Raymond E. Tracy (Ray), 61, passed away on February 9, 2024, at the hospital in Wildomar, California. He was born to Quanah P. Tracy and Shirley L. Tracy in Columbus, Georgia on April 24, 1962. Ray was married to Nancy Lester and together they had two children, Christian Tracy, and Justin Tracy. They later divorced but, remained friends. Ray was preceded in death by his father Quanah, his mother Shirley, a brother David Tracy, and his son Justin Tracy. Ray is survived by his daughter Christian Tracy, granddaughter Journey Miles, two brothers Mark and Chris, and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ray also had an extended family in California, Valerie, Sam, Ashle, Jennifer, Amber, Kayne, Lyric, Emberly, Zayne, and Charleigh. Ray loved his children but was closer to his son Justin Tracy. Justin was his constant companion and caregiver. After Justin’s death, his dog, Iris, became his comfort companion. He worked as a florist most of his life and prepared taxes part-time. Ray will be buried with his son in Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia. There will be a celebration of life dinner planned at a later date. He is now at peace and resting with his son, Justin.
