Ralph Cortez Murrietta July 23, 1955 – March 29, 2026 Ralph Cortez Murrietta, 70, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on March 29, 2026, after a period of declining health. Born on July 23, 1955, in Mesa, Ralph spent his entire life in Mesa, AZ. Ralph dedicated his career to working as an endoscopy technician, a role he took great pride in. He truly loved his work and the people he helped. He was one of nine children born to Ramon Murrietta and Mercedes Cortez, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his siblings Arthur, Eddie, Patricia, and Isabel. Ralph is survived by his sister Mercedes and his brothers Ramon, Pablo, and Joey. Ralph was a father to two children, Christopher and Stephanie, and a proud grandfather to Anthony, Vincent, Alyssa, and Jessica. He was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Sienna, who was born just before he passed away. He really loved the outdoors, especially spending time in the forest camping and hiking. Ralph also had a special place in his heart for Disneyland, where he created many cherished memories with family. Above all, he loved being surrounded by his family, traveling, and sharing experiences with the people he cared about most. Ralph will be remembered for his warmth, his love of family, and the simple joy he found in life’s moments. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
