In Loving Memory of Pete Turkington
Pete Turkington passed away on Monday, July 20, after complications from an aortic disruption. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his devotion to his family, and the many lives he touched through his kindness, humor, and his willingness to jump in and help out anyone in need.
Pete proudly served his country in the United States Navy for nine years, a chapter of his life that reflected his dedication, strength, and commitment to others. After his military service, he found joy in the simple things that brought him peace and happiness. He loved camping beneath the open sky, spending time fishing, riding his Harley, working on his Jeep, and, above all, making memories with his children. Whether around a campfire, on the open road, or in the garage with a project underway, Pete was happiest when he was surrounded by those he loved.
Family was the center of Pete's life. He leaves behind his loving parents, Dee Perez and Brad Turkington; his brother, Josh Turkington, and sisters, Ally Schuetzler and Cadee Adames; his five children, Josh Turkington, Brendan Turkington, Matthew Turkington, Cassidy Turkington, and Hannah Turkington; and his cherished granddaughter, Carine Turkington, who brought him immense pride and joy.
Pete's legacy lives on through his family, the lessons he shared, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of his family and friends.
