Celebrating the Life of O'Lillian Owens
December 17, 1938 – June 12, 2026
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of O'Lillian Owens, who peacefully transitioned
on June 28, 2026, at the age of 87.
O'Lillian lived a life defined by faith, strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. Lifelong
learner and dedicated worker, she served in many roles throughout her life, including Medical Assistant,
Medical Billing Specialist, Cook, Dental Appliance Technician, and employee of Guest Masters Furniture. She
approached every endeavor with determination, kindness, and a genuine desire to help others.
She found joy in reading, solving jigsaw and crossword puzzles, watching football, painting, traveling, and
experiencing the beauty of nature. Drawn to light, brightness, and the color red, O'Lillian brought warmth
and joy wherever she went.
Her faith guided her throughout life as she worshipped at Zion Missionary Baptist Church, St. Jude Catholic
Church, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Cure d'Ars Catholic Church and Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church.
Her love for God shaped her commitment to family, compassion, and service.
O'Lillian leaves to cherish her memory her children: Crystal Derx, Theresa Williams, Charlezetta
Roberson, Carol Johnson, and Brian Roberson. She was preceded in death by her husband L.C. Owens
and her beloved children Felicia Johnson and Richard Roberson.
She is also remembered by her grandchildren: Angela Linzy, Jason Linzy, Micah Duncan, Tynisha
Duncan, Nekila Darnell, Christopher Rodriguez, Alexis Johnson, Sidney Johnson, Demarkus Williams,
Erin Williams, Ebony Roberson, Richard Roberson Jr., Brian Craig, and John Roberson, along with 22
great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Her laughter, encouragement, and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on through the generations she inspired and the
countless lives she touched.
"Her light shines on in the hearts of all who loved her."
