The story of Olga
On January 29th 2023, surrounded by her family Olga G Perez went home to be with our Lord. And in that homecoming got to embrace her son Jaime again. Born January 10, 1939, in Eagle Pass Tx to Lydia (Garcia) Carrillo and stepfather Hilario Carrillo, Olga had one sister Alicia. On January 30, 1965, Olga married Rogelio Perez in Los Angeles, Ca. From their marriage, they had 5 children, Gilbert, Javier, Jaime, Rogelio Jr, and Laura. Olga was a stay at home mom, raising her children and caring for her family was her priority. Olga in her younger days enjoyed dancing, she enjoyed listening to Vicente Fernandez, Antonio Aguilar, Ramon Ayala. Olga enjoyed cooking, and was a great cook. She loved being with her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, hearing about and catching up on things going on in their lives, as well as seeing pictures all of them. Olga always gave hugs and I love you's, It is one thing that will be missed. Olga is preceded in death by her son Jaime, mother Lydia Carrillo, stepfather Hilario Carrillo and her sister Alicia Amador. Olga is survived by her husband of 58 years Rogelio, son Gilbert Perez, Javier (Sonya) Perez, Rogelio Perez Jr( Melinda) and daughter Laura Chavez. 7 grandchildren Javier Perez Jr, Alexis Perez, Andrew Perez, Anna Perez, Adriana Perez, Ernest Chavez, Alyssa Chavez, as well as 4 great-grandchildren Javier Perez 3rd, Mia Perez, Ava Major and Adrian Major. A small family service will be held Friday, February 24, 2023.
