Hap Hanson, born December 6, 1950, was called home to Jesus on June 6, 2026. He passed away surrounded by the love of his children and grandchildren. Hap will be remembered for his generosity, kind spirit, gentleness, quick wit, and hard work. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, and to know him was to love him. Hap was preceded in death by his mother, Elva; his father, Norbert; his sister, Kate; his brother, David; and his beloved son, Todd. Hap is survived by his daughters, Farrah, Stina, Aundrea, Jasmine, and Gabriela; his daughter-in-law, Nicole; his son, Tariq; and his sons-in-law, Jason and Eric. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Hannah, Bryndon, Kyler, Keslynn, Kaylee, Melia, Bridget, Garrett, Kaison, Theo, Kingston, and Briella, who will forever be grateful for the love he gave. Hap also left behind his four-legged best friend, Buddy, who never left his side. In keeping with Hap’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, his family will have a private gathering to celebrate his life and memory.
