The story of
MICK ALLAN MANGOLD passed away on October 2. 2023 at the age of 53. Born in Spokane, Washington on February 28, 1970. He is survived by his mother Jacquelyn Mangold, brother Walter Fox, aunt Janice Hamer, aunt Joanna with husband Will Maggiacomo, nephew Zane Fox, many cousins, and many friends he valued as honorary family. Mick’s life crossed paths with many people whom he cherished. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who love and care about him. He lived in Portland Oregon where he dedicated himself to his art, experiences, and friendships. He worked at Imago Theater for 20 years. Other professional ventures included: volunteering at KBOO Community Radio as part of the news team, stand-up comedy, and working within the secondhand collectibles industry. He achieved his Fine Arts degree at Marylhurst University. His artistic legacy includes portraits in charcoal and thought-provoking photography. He was a deep thinker and possessed varied talents through music, art, languages, spirituality, culture, food, travel, and love of animals. He loved his beloved dog, Kali, with all his heart. Kindhearted and easy-going, he was a free spirit who marched to the beat of his own drum. We may never know what was inside that took him away from us… But he did the best he could until he couldn’t any longer. He never wanted to leave us… He just didn’t know how to stay.
