Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Michael David Forti, went home to be with his Savior on March 2nd, the year of our Lord 2023. He is proceeded by his father Frank Forti, his Mother Anne Forti, and his brother John Forti. He is survived by his bride of 32 years, Christine Marie Forti, his daughters Ashley Hanson and Amanda Livermore, and their husbands Timothy and Reese. His Grandchildren Bella Reese and Brooks Michael, his brother Tom Forti and his former wife, and mother of his children Mary Draper and her husband Tim Draper. Michael Forti was a kind, generous, loving, and thoughtful soul and will be greatly missed and remembered for the many lives he touched. This is not so much a goodbye, as it is “until we meet again” as we know he is in heaven with the Lord he loved and was devoted to. Michael was born in Denver Colorado on January 7, 1955. He graduated from Littleton High School in 1973 where he placed 2nd in the state on their swim team for diving. Michael owned his own successful business as a professional painter and kitchen and bath remodeler for the last 40-plus years. He was a talented musician and artist having painted several canvas pieces and wall murals in Denver. He shared the word of the Lord in his own home fellowship for over 10 years and was part of a prison and music ministry with his wife Chris for 28 years. He also wrote for the body of Christ monthly newsletter for many years. Michael's number one priority was God and his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, holidays, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid animal lover and spent many hours with his pets. Michael was always tinkering with home projects in his own home and for his family when not working on projects for his many clients. Michael enjoyed a devoted and successful following of clients which kept him busy throughout his business career. A small family memorial service was held on March 10, 2023, at 12:00pm as the family was following Michael’s request for no formal service. The family requests that cards, written memories, flowers, and donations can be sent to the home of his daughter Ashley Hanson at 2597 Fair Meadow Place, Castle Rock, Colorado, 80104.
