Melvin L Gross, 78, passed away on October 12, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born to Salatha and Frank Gross on September 3, 1944, in Kennard Texas. Melvin (Bo) led an active life; He enjoyed laughing, dancing, singing, and being with his family. He worked in the auto industry for many years and was recognized and honored in a local paper for his service as a detail manager at Tom Jones Ford in Buckeye, Arizona. Melvin was known for his youthful (haven’t aged a day) appearance and his strength. Toward the end of his life, he dedicated much of his time to assisting the elderly with yard work and grocery shopping within his residential community. Melvin is preceded in death by his father, Frank, and his mother, Salatha; his brother, Mack, and his sisters, Florence, Frankie, Detta, and Maryola. He is survived by his 5 daughters, Barbara, Reyton, Cynthia, Tamara, and Lisa; as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Melvin was the proud Papa of 14 grandchildren. There will be a private family service held on November 4th, 2022 to commemorate and celebrate his life.
