On November 26, 2025 in Maricopa, Arizona, Melita Toro Quindara passed away peacefully to be with the Lord. There to meet her were her father, Rodrigo, and her brother Rodrigo Jr. She was born to Rodrigo Quindara and Quanita Toro Quindara on May 27, 1957 in the Philippines. She came the United States in 1981. Melita led a happy and creative life as she spent her time gardening, making arts and crafts, and cooking for her loved ones. She enjoyed traveling and sightseeing with her friends. Melita is survived by her mother, Quanita; her siblings Corinne, Arnold and their children. Melita is survived by her children Maryjane, Michael, Nancy, Dyreen, and Claire. She is also a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Taryn, Unel, Sean, Trisha, Dianne, Shekinah, Amanda, Malachi, Sharen, Carlos, Aaron, and Elijah. Melita has many cousins, nephews, and nieces that remember and honor her. It was Melita’s desire to be creamated and to have her ashes with her mother, Quanita, in the Philippines. In honor of Melita, a celebration of life will be held at a later date with her immediate family.
