The story of
Early in the morning of Thursday, 11th April 2024, Masashi Suzuki, aged 90 passed away peacefully in a hospital in Wildomar, CA. He was born to Hiroshi and Kinu Suzuki on the 17th of September 1933 in Chiba, Japan. Masashi was a mechanical engineer, having earned his bachelor’s degree from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. His professional career started as a transmission designer at Isuzu Motors in Japan, eventually climbing up to a factory manager position at Fujisawa plant. From 1986 to 1989, he served as the President of American Isuzu Motors, Whittier, CA. From 1990 to 1996, he also served as the President of TDF Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. After his retirement, he held residence both in Japan and the US. His retirement was full of joy and happiness surrounded by his spouse, brother, sisters, children, and grandchildren. Masashi is preceded in death by his father, Hiroshi and his mother, Kinu; his brother, Tsutomu; his sister, Ayako. He is survived by his wife, Motoko; his brother, Masaru; his sisters, Shigeko, Sachiko and Nobuko; his three children, Satoru, Yutaka and Yuriko. He was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren, James, Michael, Joseph, Abigail, Jeremiah, Matthew, Mark, Joy, Ryou, Maya, and Eric. A public memorial service will be held at 10am on the 3rd of May 2024 at Orchard Church, 39777 Avenida Acacias, Murrieta, CA 92563
