The story of
Mary Francis Gordon was born on July 12, 1941 in Earle, Arkansas to Joe Nathan & Veessa Oglesby (who preceded her in death). She left this earth on June 14, 2025 at the age of 83 as a result of medical complications related to Alzheimer's Disease. Mary is survived by her 4 adult children, La Faune, Shari, Andrea, & George III & her 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Jordan, Genesis, Noah, & Adriana. Mary had a very strong bond with her 6 siblings, Joetta (who preceded her in death), Enoch, Wilma, White, Margret, & Bertha, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, & close family & friends. She was an active member who dutifully served at Christ the King United Church in St. Louis, Missouri for over 20 years. Mary left the St. Louis & her home of 50 years to live with & be cared for by her eldest daughter, La Faune & grandson, Noah, in Los Angeles, California. Even in Mary's condition of Alzheimer's Disease, she often gave unconditional love, a warm smile & hug, & kind word to almost anyone she interacted with. She knew no strangers. Although Mary will be missed by many who loved & appreciated her, she will live on in our hearts forever. Please donate to the Alzheimer's Association in Mary's honor.
