The story of Marsha
Marsha Kay Brown, 53, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona after a valiant battle with Gall Bladder Cancer. She was born to Sarah Fontes, then adopted by Edna and Otis Brown. Marsha had many physical challenges in childhood and dealt with all of them with a sense of humor and mischievousness that she carried into her adulthood. She participated in Special Olympics and was on the Easter Seals Telethon. She graduated from both Catalina High School and Pima Community College with associates degree in General Studies She had many friends and devoted family and enjoyed many activities including watching movies, TV and reading on haunted places. She liked to go on road trips and traveled to Alaska. She is preceded in death by Edna and Otis Brown, Brian Brown and Sarah Fontes. Marsha was deeply loved by her family, adopted and biological: Denise Brown (sister in law), Charlene Ridgley (niece), Thomas Brown Jr. (nephew), Mercedez Ridgley (great niece), Isaac Ridgley (great nephew), Thomas Brown (brother), Teresa Fontes (sister), Joey Fontes (Brother), Kim Anders (Sister), Scott Anders (brother in law), Katelyn Anders (niece), Matt Fontes (nephew) and her honorary sister Lisa Tantlinger. A celebration of Life will be held at VFW Post 549 located at 8424 E Old Spanish Trail, Tucson, Arizona 85710 on March the 24th beginning at 4'oclock in the afternoon.
