Joyce, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 2nd, at the age of 86. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and family devotion that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by her five children, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love. Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Gordon Earl Duffield, as well as her parents, Clara Mae and Frank Riley. Her family and friends will always remember her gentle spirit, quick smile, and deep faith. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday October 28th, at 3:00pm at Old Chicago, located at 3550 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80235. This will follow the inurnment service at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Though she will be deeply missed, her love will continue to guide her family for generations to come.
