Reliably stoic friend, father and husband who will be remembered for his charismatic sarcastic approach to life, Marc Jerome Kaufmann (71) 1-17-1954 passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family and dog in Denver, Colorado on 6-13-2025. Marc submitted to cancer after years of on and off surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and various other interventions. His strength and support was ever-present throughout his own health battles. Marc is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Karyn (Gregg) Kaufmann, daughter Ashley Kaufmann Saulino, and cherished grandchildren Gabrielle, Roman and Grayson Saulino. Siblings Barb (Kaufmann) Hill, Donna (Kaufmann) Peterson, Judy Kaufmann and Sandy Kaufmann along with Justin Kaufmann and Gina (Kaufmann) Smith. Those who knew Marc will remember his life filled with the things he loved most and was happiest surrounded by his dog and grandkids. As an avid music lover, especially live concerts, he was always fiddling with recordings he'd made with one of his iconic recordings playing in the background. Family vacations were often routed to ensure a car race was taken in along the scenic routes. While his childhood was spread across the globe, Marc was a Kansan at his core enjoying his time cheering at the tv for Jayhawks basketball or Chiefs football. Marc was a proud Jew wearing his Star of David and mezuzah daily showing his solidarity for his religion and heredity until his passing. He was a proud man who lived for his family and placed them before himself. Wear your sunblock and be safe.
