LuAnn L Yanna, born LuAnn L Stork on March 9, 1956, passed away peacefully at her home in Casa Grande, Arizona, on May 6, 2026, after courageously facing cancer, with her husband and daughters by her side.
Her spirit (breath) has returned to Jesus who gave it to her, and He will restore it to her upon His soon return.
LuAnn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Stork, and mother Lucille Stork. She is survived by her husband, Dan Yanna; daughters, Amelia and Lisa; stepchildren, Candida and Jeremiah; 10 grandchildren and her sisters, JoAnn and RuthAnn.
LuAnn had a meek and humble spirit, always placing the interest of others ahead of her own. She quietly worked from the sidelines to bring joy to those around her.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no traditional funeral or celebration of life service, as she did not want others to be inconvenienced by time or expense. She extends her love to all and asks for your understanding.
Her ashes will be interred in a columbarium overlooking a wooded area in Ludington, Michigan – a place where the family lived, worked, and played together for many years. She loved hearing the birds sing and walk in the woods.
By God’s grace, she looks forward to seeing everyone together again at the second coming of Jesus.
