She worked as a labor and delivery nurse before becoming a midwife. She found great joy and purpose in helping to make women feel supported as they brought their children into the world. She had a zest for life and adventure and wouldn’t hesitate to drive several states away to attend a concert or to hop on a plane to go visit with her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
