The story of
Linda Sue Ball, Sue to all who knew and loved her, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026. Sue was the middle child of five siblings and was born in Bakersfield, California on June 3rd, 1943. She was raised in Queen Creek, Arizona. Sue graduated from Chandler High School in 1961. She spent most of her life in Tucson, but throughout her life also resided in Las Vegas, Flagstaff, Concho, and Willcox. During her time in Concho she was the librarian at the St. John’s library, a job she greatly loved as she was a lifelong avid reader and always appreciated great story telling. There was nothing she loved more than her three girls, her seven grandchildren, and her six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty seven years, Albert Ball, her daughter, Susan Danielle Young, her parents and two of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter Lori Bernardi (Michael), daughter Holly Herriges (Mitchell), her son-in-law, Edward Young (Lindsay), her grandchildren, Alyssa Bernardi (Jeff), Lindsey Herriges, Stephanie Ratti (Andrew), Carly Herriges, Talon Young (Lexy), Erin Maynard (Nathan), and Sutton Young, her great grandchildren-Charlotte, Everly, Lyla Herriges-Johnson, Camden Young, Quinn Meyer, and Henry Maynard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests the sharing of a happy memory or a donation to a local library.
