Kenneth Dale Simon, 93 yrs old, resided in Glendale AZ at Lidia’s Care Home. Kenneth passed away peacefully on the morning of Good Friday, April 2nd, 2021. Kenneth lived a full life filled with adventures, good times and much love. Kenneth passed after a battle with age and congestive heart failure, he was a trooper and enjoyed life to the fullest. Kenneth will be greatly missed. Kenneth was born January 21st 1928 to Floyd and Lottie Simon in Fostoria Kansas. After Finishing school he went on to join the Merchant Marines and went to sea in 1945. Kenneth in 1946 Married Norma Lee Duerfeldt in Wamego Kansas. Going on to have 3 children, Carolann, David Randal and Teresa Louise. Kenneth was a Member of the Iron Workers Union Local 378 in California for over 60 yrs. He worked hard and played hard. In 1978 Kenneth married Neva Martin Simon in Concord California at their home. Together they worked, traveled and played. They shared many great adventures. Kenny was passionate about life. He loved to live, laugh and have fun. His personal hobbies were boating and golfing. He was an entrepreneur, very creative and he could make almost anything with his hands. Anyone who knew Kenneth knew he was a hard worker. Kenneth is survived 3 children, Carol, David and Teresa. 1 Step Daughter Lynette Stone. 8 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren and slew of greats. Love you always and forever
