Kathleen Verda Hussey Clements returned to Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 at Jordan Valley Hospital. Kathleen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 16th, 1950 to Francis J and Verda N Hussey. Kathleen is survived by her son, Thomas James Murie of Ogden, her grandson Madison Murie of Taylorsville, Utah, and two sisters, Edith Howard of Delaware, and Margie Merril of Arizona. She is preceded in death by her son Michael, her parents, and her brother Joseph Clements. Kathy had many church callings. She loved to crochet blankets and gifted them to various people close to her. Kathy loved road trips with her son Thomas and his wife Marianne. Her favorite place was Mirror Lake in Utah. She loved nature. She liked to color and watch tv, her favorite show being "Little House on the Prairie." Kathy loved to play Bingo with her friends at City Plaza in Salt Lake City. She attended Family Home Evening on Mondays. She also volunteered to help other residents with exercise and activities. We would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Jordan Valley Hospital and Copper Ridge Assisted Living for the care shown to our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and sister. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the City Plaza.
