In the morning of Thursday, 21st November 2023 Kathleen Caroline Grunow age 80 left us to be with the Lord. She was born to Walter Johann Grunow and Emma Augusta (Boldt) Grunow on 29th June 1943 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Kathy loved the outdoors. She loved camping and beaning among nature. She was a member of the rock club, horticultural club, and believed rocks and plants were living entities. She was also a very good painter leaving several of her paintings to be enjoyed. The last 6 years she had dedicated her time solely to our family’s genealogy which should be appreciated for generations. Kathleen is preceded in death by her mother, Emma (Boldt) Grunow ,her mother’s parents, Frank and Birtha Boldt, and Frank’s parents, Gottfried and Caroline Boldt, and Gottfried’s parents, Martin and Catharine Boldt. Not much is known about her father Walter Grunow’s family. She is survived by her brother, William Grunow. Kathleen had wished to be cremated and her ashes scattered once again among nature and the outdoors.
