The story of
Kathleen Ann Fitzgerald Butcher (Kathy) Our Angel of West Valley City, Utah, age 80. Passed away January 25, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Glenn Ellsworth Fitzgerald and Ellen Ann Timms. Kathy was raised in emigration canyon where she loved to roam with the horses. She was employed at L3 Harris for 32 years before retiring. She loved all living things; people, animals, flowers, birds etc. She also had a great love for the outdoors. In 1984, her and dad bought a lot in Kamas , to build a family cabin where they spent all of their free time with family and friends and of course, her fur babies. Also where she taught each one of her grandkids as well as great grandkids how to fish. Mom always had something special to do with us kids as well as all of her grandkids She was the glue that held our family together.Our lives will never be the same without her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons Glade, Lonnie (Sunday) and Daughter Terrie. 7 Grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren 1 great great great grandson. Her Siblings, Judy (John), Pete (Debbie) Luanne (Tom) Kenny (Peggy) and Many nieces and nephews. preceded her in death her Parents, her husband Ted, brother Johnny, son Ted. Special thanks to IHC intensive care unit for taking great care of our Mother and allowing her to have her last wishes.We love you Mom, Grandma, Sister and Friend. We will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
