The story of Kathie
On the morning of February 18th, 2023, while being surrounded by her closest loved one’s. A new angel celebrated having a healthy and perfect body again. Kathie was born literally in the streets of San Francisco on October 1st, 1952 (making newspaper headlines) to William and Helen Elliot. She grew up and resided in Colorado for most of her life. Living many years in Fort Collins where she worked as a bookkeeper/accountant and then the last 30 years in Thornton where she resided with her son Rod McCormac. In the last 30 years, due to health conditions, she was not able to do many things, but she enjoyed watching movies and many TV shows. She also enjoyed puzzles, coloring, needlepoint, crocheting, eating chocolate, and drinking diet Pepsi. She got to know many people over the years and often was a surrogate mother to many who loved her. She was kind, caring, brave, and loving to anyone she met. She gave Christmas presents to everyone she knew, even those she barely knew. She was smart, fun, and great to be around. She was a very beautiful-hearted woman who was selfless and put the needs and wants of others above her own, always. She is survived and mournfully missed by her son Rod, and daughter Ashley. Along with her mother and two sisters. Memorial Services will be held at a later time and date to be announced. A GoFundMe has been set up to help cover Kathie’s final wishes https://gofund.me/f0e17229
